Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3
This is a new Russian beer to try so here it goes. The aroma is sour with some weak maltiness and sweetness coming through with maybe some sythetic overtones. The appearance is a very pale golden yellow when held to the light with a small head on top that is fuzzy and carbonated and discipates quickly to a very light lacing that coats the glass and is white in color. The mouthfeel is weak and light with light body with weak profiles of malty balance and weak hops. The flavor is grainy, of corn, synthetic, with maybe some maltiness and grassy overtones with an aftertaste that is very cloying and a finish that is watery and weak and very sour and strange tasting. Overall, pretty ruff brew here for sure which I understand why because Russia is known for strong vodka not light lagers; pass this brew up if you see it.
