This is a rare Finnish farmhouse style, based on a centuries-old brewing tradition. Brewed with rye malt and juniper berries, our Sahti has a strange but alluring marriage of flavors that defies easy description. Perhaps the most unique summer beer you'll try!

Interesting beer indeed. Had this on tap a couple of days ago at the Vintage. Mighty fine, unique and appealing. Don't know much about a Sahti, but it tastes like a very young sour, something that might do better sitting for a bit. Murky, rust coloured, no head. Easy down the hatch, sour, and brett for sure. berry fruit all the way.

Pours a murky ruddy-orange-gold with a slight tan head. Mouthfeel is soft and full and the finish is smooth. Good rye character both in texture and flavor. A sharp tanginess midway through thanks to the juniper berries. Rare? WELL, MY FIRST. Unique? YES. Strange? A BIT. Alluring? DEFINITELY!
