A Belgian-style Dubbel. This beer was brewed to celebrate Valley Brews 10th anniversary. Deep brown color with a very complex nose. Hints of bananas and apricots. 2nd Place Gold, Belgian Strong Dark, 2004 California State Fair.

A reddish brown appearance. A lot of cookie dough in the aroma with some raisins and caramel as well. The flavor consists of some spices with caramel, molasses, chocolate, and nutmeg. A sweet and warming finish. A very good beer.

This abbey dubbel pours a light brown color form a 22oz hand bottle from the brewery. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is brown sugar and dark fruit. A medium bodied dubbel. Malts are fruity and sweet, brown sugar and molasses. Hops are slightly bitter and spicy. Lots of sweetness, balance by the yeasts. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

I was able to have some of this incredible beer (not much of it left) thanks to a few people. Absolutely awesome beer. Aroma is rasins, figs, caramel and chocolate. Appearance is a dark eggplant purple color. Flavors are also chocolately, some alcohol on the tongue, raisins, all-spice and toffee. Quite the intense beer. As the name says, it's pretty damned decadent.
