This Belgian Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a hand bottle 22oz bottle. Thanks Steve. Medium sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing, Aroma is fruity, sweet and yeasty. There is also a touch of hops as well. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral. It still has that nice spiciness and yeastiness that one would expect from a Belgian style ale, but there is a good dose of hoppiness. This beer has been in the bottle for a year or so, and it has a very nice crisp and dry finish. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and spicy.

An orange apperance with a large head. The aroma was citrusy with some spice noted. The flavor is rather sour on this one. Some lemons, brown sugar, spices, and candy sugars showing up. Overall this was a nice lighter belgian style.

NorCal tasting Apr 07 - Thanks Steve for another great tasting beer!! The beer pours out a golden yellow color, nice foamy two finger head. Aroma that first hit me was bubblegum. Digging a little deeper there'some dried apricots and some bready notes. Mouthfeel is lively, without being overy harsh like some Belgians can be. Overall a really nice, clean, tasty Belgian from Valley Brew.
