Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is paper, some malts and a bit hay, Flavour is papery, dry malty, some cereals and a bit metallic notes. Quite blah.

If I wasn't told this was a Kolsch, I would have considered it a light pilsner. Pour was pale golden yellow, lots of large carbonation bubbles. The head was excellent, good retention, but weak lacing. The aroma was grainy, light fruits, some honey, strong grass. Flavor was light honey and strong, very strong grassy hops with a touch of a lightly sweet fruit aftertaste. Metallic notes mingled in the flavor profile and covering the dry mouthfeel. An average beer, but almost perfect at the time I drank it: right after summer outdoor sweaty activity, refreshing. Thanks to DerDoppelbock for this trade.
