Ceilidh Ale is our take on the Kolsch style. This style developed in Cologne, Germany in the late 1800’s to compete with the increase in pale lagers. This pale refreshing beer is a clean, crisp beer with a very subtle malt and hop character and makes a great session beer. A Ceilidh is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering, usually with traditional music in a community setting. This refreshing ale accompanied by good music and good friends is a perfect Nova Scotian pairing.
