Four + Series by Uinta Brewing. Hanging out. A good book. Bike ride. Dip in the lake. Hike in the woods. BBQs and picnics. Outdoor concerts. Drive-in movies. Counting the stars. Sunburn. Waterballoon fights. Baseball games. Checkers on the lawn. Raquets, clubs, and paddles. Fetch with Spot. And... Four+ Sum'r Organic Summer Ale. TASTING NOTES: Appealing Sorachi hops, an uncommon hop from Japan, balanced with lighter malts. Citrusy, fresh, clean. Sum’r Organic Summer Ale pairs well with summer. It is an easy companion to most foods on the summer grill, such as chicken, fish, and burgers. Pairs well with curries and spicy foods. Try it with sushi!

I dig Sorachi hops but they are underused here. A decent refreshing hot weather beer, no more, no less. Not something I'll go outta my way for with all the alternatives on the market.

A bright yellow colored beer with a big frothy textured head rising above. There is good hang time on that head. Settles into a low lying thick film, ringlet and persistent cap. Sweet bready malts in the nose. Add in the tasting a light citric and more dominate grassiness. Effervescent and easy to drink

Pours a beautiful clear golden with a thick eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but invites a taste with wheaty and subtle citrus tones. Wheaty flavor is very summery, refreshing in the heat, hints of sweet lemon and yeast and other citrus. Texture is fairly fizzy and fairly firm. To summer!

Not too bad. I actually really enjoyed this selection from Uinta. Pours a yellowy colour with minimal froth. Some honey notes, hops midpalate, balanced malt goodness with a melon-y finish.

Sampled on 5/21/2011. This golden/blonde ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grainy, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied golden/blonde ale. The malts are grassy and grainy, fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and slightly spicy. Decent carbonation. Kind of a typical golden ale, there is a touch of dryness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Reasonably tasty brew, some spice but not over done. Just a bright and refreshing summer brew, no pretentious at all. May be used for summer refreshing purposes.

It pours yellow with frothy white head and thick lacing. An aroma of sweet malts, hops, lemon/lime/citrus, mint leaves, and some spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of bready/yeasty malts, hops, lemon/lime/citrus, grassy and leafy, and mild spiciness. Good stuff!
