This beer style is less well-known, but still an exciting one to try! Malty with a little roast character from the darker grains provide the backbone while traditional hops from the Czech Republic balance it out nicely with a little spice. The darker grains provide layers of complex flavor against the crispness of the Lager style. Just because its a little darker doesn't have to mean it is a heavy beer, as in the case here - it is highly sessionable and a nice change of pace from summer lighter lagers and wheat beers.
