Al Boccardo's holiday ale won best-in-show at the first ever Triumph Pro-Am homebrew competition in July 2006. Now we've brewed up a batch based on Al's recipe, and here it is! It's a strong ale flavored with Al's special blend of spices.

Served at the Brewpub in Princeton. Chestnut color with zero lace and a thin head. Clove and anise aroma. Ginger and spice taste. Smooth to the touch, very nice mouthfeel. The aftertaste has a sharp clove bite. It's exciting and different, and very good as a holiday beer. I think it would make great toothpaste, too!
