Enjoying at von Trapp bakery right now. Dark brown, looking like cola with a big creamy, light mocha-coloured head, great retention and loads of lacing. Roasted malt nose with hints of coffee, chocolate, molasses, dark fruits and liquorice, all well-blended together. Flavours of dark malts with nicely balanced dryness in the finish from the hops. More dark fruits well-balanced in there. Smooth mouthfeel from the slightly thicker body than most of this style. Really nice!
