A disappointment after having some other nice stouts recently. Drawn dark brown to balck with a smallish tan head. Aroma was light on the requisite malt and hops and very little of the warm roasted aroma that one would expect. Oddly thin on the pallette. Flavor was lacking as well and almost no hops in the finish.

This went well with my pizza...but the pizza was quite a bit better. Though not a bad stout it was certainly disappointing, unfortunately. I would think this is more a budget thing, given how thing the mouthfeel was. At least there was a nice brown cap of head and some malty and coffee flavor. Dry palate and little flavor hops, some roast aroma, but I really expect more.
