We brewed this silky-smooth Irish Red Ale from our original 1996 Johnny "Blood" Red recipe to commemorate the Packers Heritage Trail. It combines flavors of ripe fruit, dark caramel, bready English yeast, and ample American hops.

This beer had a reddish brown appearance and a good head that disappated quickly. Otherwise, though flavorful it seemed unremarkable to me. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. Verging on chemically, but still tastey, but not memorable. Slightly bitter, slightly sweet. I kinda had the feeling like "what is that?" but also like, well, "lets chug that one and get onto something better." It did have alcohol because at in one of my first three sips I thought, "Did they cut this with Isopropyl?"
