Cascade hope were harvested in the middle of the night and rushed to the brewery where under a full moon and the smiling countenance of the beer gods a little brewing magic took place. The incredibly fresh hops provide an intense citrus aroma and flavour. The addition of wildflower honey brings even more flavour and a bright crisp finish. Only able to be made once a year with the hop harvest, get it while you can. Don’t miss out!

Pretty funny, the woman at the store doing the tasting really wanted to emphasize that the hops here are fresh, "not like the pellets used in some other beers". Well, thats novel... I guess... not really. Anyways. The beer was everything I look for in a summer beach beer. Nothing to think about, really simple flavours of grass, lemon, light malt, gentle biscuit and a bit of a hop grapefruit that barely barley barely shows up. Similarily the honey barely shows up, it enters more as a sublte smooth presence in the mouthfeel rather than a flavour or aroma. Same for the hops, well balanced bitterness, leaning closer to bitter than sweet, but there are not pronounced hop characteristics. Really easy to drink. Shared a 650 with my dad while gardening and it was litterally gone in minutes. Awesome, best from Tin Whistle by far. Much more than the sum of its parts and well made, if unexciting.
