Clean in both hop aroma and finish. It is as close to a lager as an ale gets.

sampled on 9/6/10. 22oz bottle. pours an clear gold color. thin head. aroma is sweet malty and something odd. not sure what it is. diacetyl? taste is light malts, a hint of hops and that weird off flavor. very little carbonation. weak, bland beer. if i hadn't poured it myself, i could have been drinking any B/M/C or other pale lager. mouthfeel is thin and watery. thin body. aftertaste is a little sweet. this is the 2nd bottle from tied house with this off aroma/flavor, could be bottling issues.

An average blonde ale. Pour was very very pale. Aroma is mild. Mouthfeel is smooth but still weak. Flavor is not bad. Very malty and full of barley. Not a fan of blonds and this is the norm.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied gold ale/lager. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy and more prominent than in most gold ales. Mild flavor. Smooth taste. Well balanced. Nice taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

The Tied House (tired house) operation is an abomination of the brewing world. In all the years I have ahd the misfortune to drink their bier, a wheatbock was drinkable, and a IPA brewed from a recioe that came from the winner of a home brew contest was the only decent bier. The food here is ok, but the bier is just lousy. Not only that, the beggers do the ole three fingers of head in a 16oz glass trick. Bad value, bad, bier, avoid Tired House
