Hand pulled cask at Argyll Arms in London, W1F 7TP. Poured a clear deep gold colored ale with a very thin slight beige foamy head that had a long retention. No carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is slight roasted malts. The flavour is toffee burned malts, dried fruits, nuts, plums, berries and spicy, cinnamom. The mouthfeel is very smooth and a little oily. This light bodied ale has a lingering nutty finish. A very enjoyable ale.

Cask at the GBBF 2008, hand pump / beer engine. Black colour, dark reddish brown in the highlights, low head. A moderate nuttiness in the aroma, hints of mild coffee. The flavour is smooth with a slight roastiness and some nutty notes.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity hops with nectar, slight roast and wood. Flavour is the same with a lot of vanillaish hints.
