Picked this up the other day at Star Liquor here in Madison: poured a cloudy orange colour with an initially big white head. However it quickly dissipates into a more modest white head. Aroma is hoppy, a little bit of alcohol and pine. Tatse is very nice, enticing with hops, some chewiness and apple and grapefruit notes. A real nice brew overall.

very smooth, and approachable .. "those poor monkey's" .. low head but nice lacing .. is showing its age a bit, but has mellowed nicely .. i am enjoying drinking this but i am fine .. did you know The Prodigy did " Outer Space" ??? ..i did not.

A dark orange color with a fading white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy with some sour fruit notes. The flavor is very IPA like with some oranges and lemons. A good malt presence with this one as well. Good beer overall.

Bottle courtesy of Kryptic: Poured a deep orangey color ale with medium size foamy head with good retention and some nice lacing. Aroma of fresh grapefruit is totally incredible with some bitter notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some fresh grapefruit with a nice mix between some more bitter and floral hops and a decent malt base. Body is full with some good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. The fresh grapefruit aroma and taste was quite spectacular and definitely something that I wouldn’t mind drinking on a regular basis.

Pours with an amber-orange body topped by a medium thick head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet very bitter with grassy hop notes and alcohol esters, as well as, an underlying malt note. Medium bodied, smooth and slightly dry.

This American Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange and malt, with lots and lots of floral hops. A medium bodied American Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with lots of caramel and toffee and some fruit. The hops are piney and earthy. Kind of a cross between a Barley Wine and an Imperial IPA, which leaves it in the nebulous American Strong Ale category. Nice alcohol presence, its perhaps a little hot. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a touch of alcohol.

It poured a full creamy head, unlike what others seemed to have experienced. The aroma was the best part for me, nice choice of hops and malts. The ABV was hidden very well in the hoppy flavor. Reminds me of ocean spray sweet pink grape fruit juice specifically (but not over powering) - not just your ordinary grape fruit flavor you get from hops. Full body, but not too heavy. I put down the 1 pint 6 oz bottle quicker than normal singing it's praises. Very enjoyable!

Golden colour, small white head. Big fruity and flowery hops in aroma. Flavour is sweet, fruity hops along with a sting of alcohol. Big hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle from nolankowal / trade, shared w/ slob. Pour is golden amber in color, decent little head, yet nothing impressive. The fun starts, however, with the aroma, rich and full citrus hops, oodles of pink (j/k) grapefruits, lots of 'em. The malts are subdued under it all, some grains. The flavor follows the aroma with absoultely no surprises, alcohol warmth noticeable, yet fairly quiet, well tamed perhaps by the hopping. Mouthfeel is not as full bodied as perhaps their dreadnaught, but it is smooth and quite drinkable, enjoyable. Good stuff, thanks super much, John, a great experience!
