02.18.05 Golden colored. Small head. A fair take on a b.p. Belgian. Certainly a strong ale, maybe too strong on the nose as the alcohol is very peppery and re-emerges retronasal. Plenty of Belgie yeasties and a nice hoppy finish save this beer. Lingering alcohol.

I had a sample of this at the brewery. A nice perfumey aroma. Gold color with little lacing. Flowery, vanilla, spicy flavor. Some banana. I couldn't find this beer listed anywhere else and the brewpub didn't give a style, so I can only guess that it's a tripel.
