Strong by name and strong by nature. Such a regal figure, like the historic line of which it is a descendant. Here only prime malts are used, with a hint of liquorice and nuances of dried fruit, entwined harmoniously with toasted coffee. Before forsaking your palate, it echoes with a memorable hint of lovely lingering hops. Admire its amber-tinged red hue, discover its sweetness: more surprises are in store for your senses. It has a sweet flavour accompanied by hints of liquorice, dry fruit and coffee. Full bodied, it has an intense amber colour.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head of good retention. Sweetish aroma of caramel, molasses and raw alcohol. The fairly sweet flavour has also notes of caramel and molasses, hints of dark dried fruits and liquorice. Too moderate hops. The alcohol is not well hidden.
