Strong aroma has notes of caramel and brown sugar, a fair alcohol tang. Pours a dark, somewhat hazy chestnut with a thick and fairly persistent light tan head that leaves some good lacing. Malty, woody flavor has subtle caramel and cloves notes, alcohol bite seems a bit strong. Texture has decent body and sharp fizz, leaving a woody hop finish. Not D-R's best, but give it a try.
