What's better than a glass of cool, crisp, Orchard White, the #1 rated wit beer on Ratebeer.com? How about one with more alcohol and a bit more malt? Well we thought it sounded pretty damn good, so we created Imperial Orchard White. IOW packs a pretty good punch, at 7.7% abv. And since 7 is a lucky number, we predict that this beer will bring only good to those who drink it (or those football or baseball team picks, or stock market listings). So replace that lucky rabbit's foot with a glass of this beer, and let the good times roll!

Bottle courtesy of Kegbear: Poured a cloudy light orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma is dominated by dry coriander and huge wheat malt. Taste is also a nice mix between some dry coriander with loads of wheat malt with light cloves ester and a dry slightly hoppy finish. Full body with limited filtration and great carbonation with no signs of alcohol. I thought this was very interesting if maybe a tad over spiced.

Pours a straw color with light haze, not as much cloudiness as expected from a wit. Aroma is mostly just sugar and yeast. Mouth is nice and full, great carbonation. Taste is banana and clove, some slight citrus in the aftertaste. The boosted alcohol content gives this a richer fullness than the Orchard White. Just bought a growler and am loving it.
