Sample at Bruery Provisions on 2/27/2012. This fruit beer pours a bright raspberry color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, raspberry, slightly tart and sweet. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of tart raspberry flavors. Fruity and sweet, touch of word and a nice mellow tartness throughout. Brings out the flavor of the fruit while still having a nice wood and tart character. Very little if any carbonation, but it does not seem to need any. Very easy drinking. Very nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart with some residual sweetness and fruit flavor.
