Thick and black as oil, this rich imperial stout is complex yet smooth. Rounded roastiness with flavor notes of coffee, chocolate and dark fruit dominate a intense explosion of flavor

Thanks to kinger for this bottle. Big black beer with lots of roast notes. The nose is not sickly sweet as some can be on such a big beer. Thick beer with enough bitterness to balance it, quite a beast. It does seem to have a bit of tin in the flavor but very mild and its quickly taken over by anise and roast malts.

Thanks to kinger for this generous offering. Really nice beer out of the Brew Kettle. I've been impressed with the last two offerings I had from this brewery. I wrote a really nice review of it, but then BP crapped out on me. To make it short but sweet- pours thick like motor oil. Little to no carbonation. Aroma is burned toast, dark chocolate, heavily roasted coffee beans and bacon. Taste is full, meaty, heavy on the palate. Finishes long and delicate with an aftertaste that lingers for a while.

Tunguska rolled out throughout this past year and it still impresses me the more I get to enjoy it. Heavy, dark stout choc full of burnt, roasted and sweet malts along with an underlying balance of hops. Chocolate, nuts and a hint of coffee. Brew Kettle has stepped their game up lately and this is one of the many examples showcasing their talents.

22oz bottle received via trade with Kinger -

Had a chance to share this with a few beer geeks at my brothers house. This beer was so damn tasty, when my brother-in-law knocked over his glass, doing a great job shattering it, it was tempting risking a few flesh-wounds to slurp up this goodness.

Solidly built aroma around dark chocolate, toffee, roasted coffee beans and nougat. Flavor just is a damn near perfect blend of dark chocolate, soy/salty notes, toffee, and coffee. No ashy harshness anywhere this beer, with a good bit of sweetness left to accentuate the chocolate angle. GREAT beer. Thanks Cory!!!
