From small bottle share @ ~~NGD's house. Deep amber copper pour, little head not lacing. Huge caramel and light Bourbon nose and flavor, huge sweet malt bomb, some ripe cherries and dates, more caramel, exquisite. Absolutely loved this one. It has aged very well.

My second breww from World of Beer today. A darly rich amber color with a big fluffy textured, light beige head rising robustly above. There's good hang time on the head. It settles eventually into a thick soapy film and ringlet. I was getting a cherry profule with some oak. It is light and syrupy bodied.

Pretty nice biscuit malt forward barleywine. The 1/3 bourbon barreled blend leaves me wanting a little more barrel presence, though it comes out nicely as it warms. Depending on the bourbon, 50 50 is about perfect. Little hop presence, though there is some back-end bitterness. Overall, pretty nice, though not a standout.
