A Belgian India Pale Ale sounds as confusing as a bunch of guys that do sketch comedy dressed as both genders and multiple nationalities and it is certainly as complex. Fortunately, there is nothing but art and science at work here using Belgian yeast, domestic malts, rock candy sugar and aromatic hops to create a truly complex but extremely palatable beer. Honestly what this beer does is it ‘reaches into your brain "chemically," and then it locates your happiest memory "chemically," then it locks onto that emotion and freezes it "chemically," and then it keeps you happy.” There’s absolutely nothing confusing about that."

On tap @ Terminal BrewHouse during my Staycation. Light amber golden pour with a tight medium white-ish head leaving large amounts of chunky lacing. Nice floral, pine and grapefruit/citrus hops nose upfront, pleasant and not overpowering, sweet malts, and very slight Belgianesque yeasts and funk. Nice flavor, just aggressive enough, floral and honeysuckle, piney and grapefruit, citrus then sweet, yeasty and great linger. Very nicely done for the style. Good and just bitter enough.

Murky brownish orange color with a white head. Aroma contains citrus, caramel, spices, perfume with herbal notes. The flavor is rather bitter with some pine, lemons, orange, buscuit, and brown sugar. Finish is also bitter but sour too. Overall this is pretty good.
