(Alcohol by volume: 4.5%; O.G.: 11° P / 1.044): A classic, unfiltered Belgian-style white ale brewed with coriander, orange peel, and locally grown chamomile flowers. It is called "white ale" because of the pale, cloudy color. A light aroma of orange and a zesty mouthfeel ensure that Telegraph White Ale is the perfect accompaniment to long summer days and fresh, flavorful farmer's market cuisine.

Man, I'm a sucker for chamomile. It also doesn't hurt that this has an ever so slight tartness to it as well, making it stand out from others in the same style. The only flaw was the over-carbonated mouthfeel, but unfortunately it took away from the overall enjoyment of this otherwise good beer.

Sampled on 6/23/2011. This witbier pours a slightly cloudy light orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Large sized dense foamy white head, with good lacing and long lasting retention. The aroma is cereal, citrusy and sweet with some spices. A medium to light bodied wit. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet, with some coriander and orange peel. The hops are floral and spicy. Lively carbonation. There are a whole bunch of little tiny bubbles cascading to the top of the glass. A very light and easy drinking beer. Great for the 90+ summer afternoon or evening. But has enough flavor that it would be a good beer with food. With a lower ABV 4.5% this would be a great summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. The finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
