Maltsters ale is a hand crafted quality ale from the Teignworthy Brewery. This brew is produced with the finest ingredients, using only local water, English hops, Westcountry Ale yeast, and of course Tucker's quality malted barley. They are steeped in water for three days and then germinate the grains on the floor, turning the barley with the traditional Malt Shovel and Hand Plaugh. This ale is a celebration of brewing skills and the maltster's art.

Bottle conditioned. Clear chestnut colour with a slim creamy off-white head. Malty aroma. Flavours are malty and fruity with a nice long hoppy bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. I’m struggling to describe the complexities of this beer, but it’s very good and I like it.
