Appearance: pale and golden, straw yellow in colour. Nose: delicate fruity hop with a hint of maris otter maltiness. Palate: soft malt with a fruity hoppy middle, drier hop in the finish which lingers pleasantly. Summary: a very refreshing easy drinking Orkney Light Ale. Hopped with in 2008 American and Polish hops early and late in the copper. One to enjoy with any type of food at any time of day. It does not have to be strong to be exceptional.

500 ml bottle, thanks to my beerpal Olav who brought it home from the Orkneys. ABV is 3.6%. Crystal clear golden colour, big to moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits. Light bodied. Decent hoppy flavour, some fruitiness first, dry and "dusty" finish. Very nice for its moderate ABV.
