dark reddish-brown colour, fine head and a nice lace, malty and buttery nose, some caramel, medium-bodied, sweet, moderately bitter, very dry finish of malt and licorice

Another fine christmas brew from the little island - the brew hasn't changed much from last year, but as good as it is, that's not necessarily a bad thing - nice deep red color, sweeter aroma, crisp rather fast-fading head and a typical high-end taste, that's not too sweet
