Interesting. Nowhere on the label does it actually say beer (in English, at least), and I only guessed that this was a beer based on where it was in the Lawson convienance store cooler. A bit soft and mushy in the mouthfeel, but not too unappealing. Aroma a bit off-putting, though -- musty and peculiar, at the very least. Fairly dry middle and finish. Slight ginger or soy presence in the flavor profile. Probably beter with food (as advertised), but still vaguely interesting solo, too.
