If you love coconut and dark chocolate, you've come to the right place! With reckless abandon, we crammed as much toasted coconut as we could fit into this rich imperial stout to transport your taste buds to a decadent tropical oasis. Dark brown colour with copper highlights, a big light-beige head, frothy, very good retention and some foamy-creamy lacing. Coconut aromas with chocolate malts. The mouthfeel is lightly oily, not too thick with some good dryness that starts off quick enough. The taste is mostly the chocolate malts with a touch of coffee bitterness (even though not any like the previous beer I rated). Hints of vanilla is present though out, blending nicely with the rest. Easy and effective.
