The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a loose white head. The aroma is a combination of hops, grass, and a little malt. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with some mild carbonation. The flavour is very pleasant with some malty tones and a little grain.

Available on tap at a couple of establishments in the city. It pours a nice clear golden colour with a generous white head. The aroma was a tad on the malty side, but there was a hoppish hint. The flavour was well balanced with some nice maltiness backed by a hoppish presence that led to bitterness. The beer was very smooth and went down easy.

On tap at the Castle for Oktoberfest. Tapped a lightly protein hazed darker gold...2 finger white rockey cap...moderate retention fair lacing....softly cabonated. Aroma is punctuated with spicey Zatec hops and biscuity malts...a light acerbic mustiness from the lager yeast. A good bite of pale Czech malts mingle with Munich amber breadiness then the balance is instantly struck as the spicy hops rush in, mid palate there is a light lemony-cider tone created as the malt sugars and hops mingle in subtle complexity...finish is moderate in duration, clean bready and spicy with a light biscuit after taste. Good malt spine, soft mouth feel and more substantial body than their Pilsner, this tasted like an Austrian golden lager. I tried one of these back to back with a fresh Stiegl and the flavor profiles are uncannily similar. A good effort by this brewer to replicate that golden Salzberg lager style. if this is what he was after.
