There was no regular Laika so I decided to try a non-beer instead. It pours a coca-cola black with light brown edges and a weak thin film for a cap. The bourbon hits you straight in the nostrils followed by the roasted malt and coffee hints. Not a very complex aroma. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. Like the aroma, the flavor is dominated by the bourbon and the malt and hops are very secondary and buried

Pours deep warm sable with a nice tan head. Malty aroma has a strong overtone of bourbon-infused oak and molasses. Flavor has firm bourbon, molasses, toasty malt, earthy and chocolate notes. Mouthfeel is quite fizzy and fairly firm. Howl at the moon!
