Everbody enjoys a good stout! Shamus has taken on many names and recipe tweaks as a homebrew over the years and fared well against the competition at both the Bluebonnett Brew Off and the Arkansas State Fair. This is a good beer to experiment with, and whiskey soaked wood, dry hopped, and vanilla bean versions have all been tried.

Taps opaque dark chocolate with a nice fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma presents chocolate, roast malt, oaty and molasses tones plus a hint of coffee. Flavor delivers roast malt, chocolate, molasses, oat and coffee notes. Texture offers so-so body and perky fizz. Shame-us on you if you don't try it.
