Rated Nov. 2017. Poured up on tap at the Stone downtown brewpub on J Street where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up candied papaya, cantaloupe and mango to go along with a malt nuanced pine hoppiness. The taste delivers smoothness rolling quickly into firm levels of bitter resiny pine hops. Before you adjust to the piny hop onslaught the experience gets punctuated by juicy, albeit still pine dominated, mango, cantaloupe and papaya tropical fruitiness. Great full body, full flavored sipper of a IIPA.
