We have had fans clamor for us to re-brew the Stone 19th Anniversary Thunderstruck IPA…..as well as an internal plea from Team Stone to be able to experience this wonderful beer one more time. Here it is! Another celebration of Hop Innovation with this being a focus on our grower friends down under. An amazing Double IPA that’s well worth a Southern Hemisphere return visit. Originally released to commemorate our 19th Anniversary, this is a recipe that’s garnered constant rumblings requesting its return, as steady and powerful as the sound of a didgeridoo… ABV: 9% IBUS: 95 HOP VARIETIES: Galaxy, Ella, Vic Secret

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

32oz crowler pours with a clear copper gold colored body that supports a nice light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up citrus, peach, a little white grape and then a floral to kinda pine like hoppiness. The taste delivers similar varied hoppiness with a blend of tangelo and bitter grapefruit, a pulse of pine hop bitterness and then berry to peach to a cranberry like fruitiness. The hop bitterness dominates here with bitter pine, grapefruit and thin rings of bitter floral like hops. Pretty solid offering.
