Rated in Sept. 2021. 12oz can pours with a mostly clear copper gold body that supports a full light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up tangelo, a dash of mango and then a bit of resiny pine mixed with grapefruit. The taste delivers firm resiny pine like hop bitterness that takes on a lightly chewy goodness. The bitterness is joined by a moderate degree of grapefruit and builds further to midway. Beneath the bitterness is a pleasing citrus to slightly tropical fruit juiciness adding a nice semblance of balance to the experience. This is smooth and rewarding with little sense of the massive ABV. Stone needs to keep making beauties like this.
