This pilsner is completely different; it's not a pilsner! You see, we think we put a saison yeast into it instead of the Budvar yeast. Otherwise, it was treated like a pilsner, cold fermented and hopped with all American-grown Saaz . What we have now is an extremely refreshing, sluggable summer beer that's crisp and hoppy, but with a spicy aftertaste.

KSBF 08, first beer sampled! Golden color, crisp hop bite with sweet fruitiness underneath that reminded me of saison. Lots of grassy saaz hops and high bitterness. Pretty unique and tasty!
