Stegmaier Summer Stock Lager is a straw-colored traditional pilsner beer with golden highlights and a creamy white head. Its perceived citrus nose and supreme balance of malt and hops have essentially made this beer terrific thirst quencher for summer. It’s crisp, clean and refreshing.

This beer I'm drinking is Knights Head Lager by Round Table Brewing Company. Brown bottle with a twist off cap. Looks like the ubiquitous pale lager, sparkles nicely in the glass. Aroma is mildly sweet and that carries over to the taste. Good tingly carbonation on the tongue. Evolves into a mundane dull finish, but in a good way. Each new slug is the same way; nice smell, good initial impressions and then a weird processed lager finish which is tolerable. Decent session brew. Pretty light for a straight pale lager. This pilsner pours a light gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral with a touch of corn. A medium to light bodied pilsner. Malts are grassy and grainy. Hops are slightly floral. Good carbonation. Touch of vegetables. Crisp and clean. Nice lawnmower beer. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
