750 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Saint Rieul chalice an unfiltered and hazy amber-orange coloured A T with a one finger light beige, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is yeasty, fruity and aromatic hops, sweety malts. The flavour is a powerful alcoholic feeling, bitter herbs, fruity, peaches, yellow plums, pears, apricots, grapefruits, spicy with a peppery touch and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is fulled, quite thick, strong bitter and alcoholic. The texture is oily. This full bodied A T has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. The fruity and aromatic hops on the the nose turned, on the palate, into strong herbal and bitter hops. Overall an interesting, tasty and characterful Abbey Tripel.
