Bottled. Reddish brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Dark berries (black currant) and maybe some winegums (?, the non-raters at the table said so...). Also alcohol present, but fits in very well. Sweet aftertaste, and sticky palate. A bit barleywineish hints over it.

330 ml bottle, as St. Idesbald Dubbel. Some say this is the same beer as Duinen Dubbel. ABV was 8%. Bought in Frederikshavn, Denmark. Pours deep copper coloured with floaties, large off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma with caramel and some oak. Flavour is malty sweet and spicy with plenty of caramel, some hops, oak and alcohol in the finish. Moderately warming mouthfeel. A bit too sweet for me.

ruby colour, creamy head and nice lacing; malty nose, touch of ginger, full-bodied, sweet, long spicy finish - I can't really enjoy it because I don't like ginger
