The term Brown Ale was first used by London brewers in the late 1600's to describe their products and later segued into Nut Brown Ale due to style of fermentation. Our Nut Brown is medium-bodied and has a toasted, nutty maltiness.

On tap at the brewpub: Again, found this to be a little off from the style. Clear copper, but so much brown. Frothy and mildly nutty. Aroma is sweet. TAste is pleasent, soft nutty character, little bit of toast, otherwise a little light for my taste.
