750 ml bottle. Pours dark brown black with a big creamy tan head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet grainy roast chocolate malt with some dark fruit and black licorice.
The flavor is sweet lactic chocolate malt with heavy roast and some dark fruit and black licorice and then a bitter heavy roast finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent imperial stout. A little too sweet and roasty for me. -

Black pour, dark brown head. Rich molasses and alcohol aroma. Dark fruit and coffee hidden. Smooth body for 10.5. The alcohol is there but never prohibitive. A little anise and licorice atop the rest of what was in the nose. Pretty "Russian". Moderate bitterness. Good brew.

I love the mormon schtick from this brewery. And the beers are damn good too. Pours thick and black, not quite motor oil, but delicious looking for sure. Thin tan head. Tastes and smells of chocolate, and coffee comes in as it warms. Some tart/bitter hoppiness in the finish. Thick and smooth, but not quite chewy. A great beer that just misses perfection.

A rather smoky stout with a hearty dose of leather. Chewy and thick, dark as hell with an assertive burnt character. Large brown head with heavy lacing for an awesome appearance. Milk chocolate and some coffee along with black licorice and molasses for a medley of flavors.

Black body, cap was thick and frothy, after it settled into a thin cap it left some spotty lace, mouthfeel is nice, a bit sticky but its cool how it coats the glass, great carbonation balance. Flavor of roasted coffee beans, nuts, some chocolate notes as well. The alcohol kicks in at the end with a long dry finish. Overall the best i have had from Squatters yet.

It's a thick dark beer with aroma of milk, chocolate, coffee, molasses and maybe a little nuts. Flavor is quite dynamic, with leather, tobacco, chocolate, coffee, and a little smoke. Not heavy and cloying, very easy to drink and dangerous at 10.5%. I didn't even know they were allowed to make alcohol in Utah!

This poured dark black color with a tan head. Perfect score! The aroma contains some chocolate, coffee, cocoa powder, and espresso. The flavor is rich but balanced all the same with more milk chocolate, malted milk balls, and a hint of coffee. Hot damn, this reminds me of Expedition a little bit. This is from Utah? I’ll be a monkey’s cousin in law! Awesome!
