Dark and dry it is. This amber cider feels and tasted heavier, with an extra mustiness than runs counter to the dry finish and makes this a pretty interesting cider.

Sampled on 2/29/2012. This cider pours a medium golden brown color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is apples, brown sugar, molasses, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied cider. A medium sweet cider. Good apple flavors, with hints of brown sugar and molasses. Start out fairly sweet, but there is a tartness that starts about mid taste and finishes more tart than sweet. Nicely balanced. Mildly carbonated. A very drinkable dry cider. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly swet.

Hard for me to rate ciders, as I am mostly a beer guy....but this is one damn good cider...one of the best I tried. Nice and dark...good blend of apple and sugars. Almost like a liquid caramel apple. Tried the Woodchucks, the Jokers...but this is where it's at. Definitely recommended for anyone getting into ciders. Makes me wanna sample more now to compare.

In appearance alone this is the moset unique cider I've had to date. A deep mahogany color with a ringlet! And, thin splotches of film aside the glass. Nice ripe, caramel apple in the nose and on the palate. Neither overly sweet and certainly not tart. Well carbonated, fizzy on the palate.
