For this latest iteration of Voices Carry we took our base sour and aged it 4 months. It was then conditioned on generous amounts of blackberry, black currant, concord grape and a touch of lactose for a delicious, slightly sweet and creamy treat. This beer is our homage to the OG wine cooler that Spark’s founder, Andrea drank back in the day.

Hazy red-pinkish colour with a light pink-white frothy head, good stay and some mild lacing. Fruity berry nose with some lactose adding a little sweetness, to balance the sourness. The sour touch shows up in the taste, from the berries, and blended with the black currant, grape and lactose. The milkiness does linger in this one, more than the other of Voices Carry. A nice sour berry-lactose ale.
