Spark + KIN Voices Carry Pinot Noir is our Voices Carry sour beer aged on KIN Vineyards’ 2021 Carp Ridge pinot noir must. Organic, biodynamic, and local, KIN’s grapes add subtle complexity to this bottle conditioned sour beer. A subtle yeasty sourdough along with a firm acid backbone blend perfectly with the burst of bright raspberry from the pinot. One of our all time favourite sour beers. Clean, light-golden colour with a frothy white cap, fizzing away mildly, leaving a foamy coating over the brew. After swirling the bottle, bets hazy. Aromas are a nice blend of grapes and lighter wine vinegars. The taste shows a nice mix of both again, with some decent sourness. More on the grape juices, than Pinot Noir with the woodiness and all. Still, pretty drinkable and easy for a sour - which this brewery is good to brew.
