A funky, foeder-aged Belgian Tripel with Brett. Aged for 8 months in our lil foeder this beer is a blast of stone fruit, citrus, leather funky Brett and a hint of alcohol warmth. One of our new favourite sippers. This is named after John's mom. She's the best!

Clean, golden colour with an amber hue, a fizzy off-white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lace, nor stickiness on the glass. Apple and vinegar in the nose with hints of Belgian yeast. Mild funky flavours, a little earth, some vanilla-oak, apples and a fairly thin, dry finish. Not much vinegar taste, which is nice, as in not a sour wild ale. Gets a little hazy as it pours. Much better than I expected as mixing Brett and Tripel. An easy-drinking stronger Belgian ale with a decent Foeder, funk touch.
