Ahh summer.. warm weather, cool breezes, vaccines and our new pink guava and passionfruit summer sour. We added a surfeit of tropical goodness to Even Downtown, our stainless-aged sour beer. This beautifully golden-coloured ale explodes with pink guava and passionfruit and will pair nicely with summertime fun!

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy white head and slowly dissipates to leave a very thin bubbly coating and leaves some thick soapy lacing. Has a pale golden orangey coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of grassy and floral hops, some piney hops with lots of tropical fruit notes. Flavours are very citrusy and lemony, some tropical notes in the mix. Some mild bitterness on the palate. Slight drying mouthfeel.

Hazy golden-yellow colour with a fizzy head that disappears quickly and leaves only tiny bubbles in the brew. Beautiful fresh fruity aromas of the guava and passionfruit. The taste shows nice sourness, but not too crazy, just lasting in the background. The fruit juices are nicely balanced. An orange hue comes in later with the fruits being more present. The tart is very light, so another pleasant fruity sour from this brewery.
