Very excited when i heard SS was experimenting with barrel aging, a step in right direction for this awesome brewery .. . I actually got the first glass ever poured, booyaa!!..Pours a dark brown, low head, medium lacing .. . big and sweet, chocolate, rum, sugar, fudge, light coffee, and figs .. . wonderfully complex- wicked smooth! .. . would love to see a few kegs put away for 3-5 years... . Oh, and one final thing, we didn't kill Red, he partied to death!
