Comforting aromas of chocolate malt and dark toffee, with a hint of banana and stone fruits. A dark abbey style ale with a subtle rich maltiness and a dry, spicy finish. *** 2015 WABA Gold Medal *** 2014 GABF Bronze Medal *** 2014 WABA Silver Medal *** 2014 NABA Silver Medal *** 2013 WABA Gold Medal *** 2012 NABA Silver Medal

Bomber from Haggen (Burlington, WA). Mahogany pour, sparse beige head. Malty aroma, along with dark fruit. Decent mouthfeel, and peppery as well. Flavour again with the malt and dark fruit. A bit better than okay, not stellar.
