Lager of highly fermented malts, featuring a nice golden color. Brewed in the old tradition, naturally fermented in the bottle via the Trappist method. The body of this beer is generous with hints of citrus on the finish. Enjoyed with Saint Felicien. Ingredients: water, barley malt*, hops*, and yeast. *Products from organic farming. Contains gluten.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6

750 ml caged and corked bottle. Poured in an English tulip pint a clear and golden-yellow coloured Spiced Beer with a generous two fingers and almost white and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, fruity notes, citrus, oranges, pineapples and spicy, cinnamom. The flavour is moderate sweety malts, a touch of caramel, dried fruits, nuts, herbal notes, and spicy with cinnamom and a touch of licorice. The mouthfeel is round, quite thin and a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied Spiced Ale has a dry sweety and fruity finish. A pleasant brew, surely, easy drinkable, but too flat, for me, on the palate.
